Rumor Has It is a boring, pedantic celebration of fluff and if the rumor is true and The Graduate is based on a real family, they must be comforted that regardless of their dysfunction, at least they are interesting.

The story of Brokeback Mountain is no party trick or advertising gimmick.  It is a heartbreaking love story that should have been told long ago and without any murmuring.

Despite the failings on the one front, The Family Stone transcends the holiday family farce and establishes itself as one of the most surprising and endearing films of the year. 

Peter Jackson has hit his stride and the result is the perfect example of what a movie can be. 

Syriana asks important questions and provides a foundation to start a dialogue that is necessary and long overdue.

Perhaps not an instant classic, Narnia is certainly a magnificent and epic ride for anyone with a bit of imagination.
